Doll Show on May 22nd!

St. Louis Fashion Doll Collector's Club Inc. will be
holding another doll show.
Doll Show Date: Sunday, May 22, 2005
Location: Holiday Inn, 6921 S. Lindbergh Blvd. at I-55
Description of Show: Display and sale items are limited to
all types of dolls, clothing, accessories, related doll
items and bears

Table Costs: 1st table- $45.00, 2nd table - $40.00, 3rd

Are chairs provided? At least one per vendor - possibly 2
depending on hotel supply. No additional chair rentals will
be available.
Setup Time: 7:00 am
Takedown Time: 3:00 pm
Number of Helpers Allowed: Up to 2 additional helpers
allowed
Is this an Annual Show? "Our club has sponsored shows in
2000, 2001 and in 2004 and we decided to do another show
this year with the great support of our membership."
Number of years in existence: "Our club has been in
existence since 1996. As internet sales grew, we
decided that putting on another show was just not warranted
at the time and we took a break for two years. The club
received numerous requests to sponsor another show, so we
decided to do one last year and this year."
Average Attendance: We had over 200 people at the last and
the show before was closer to 400; many of our vendors
report profitable sales from collectors.
Is this show recommended for Original Doll Artists? We do
have several local doll artists and we are hoping to
include more original artists in this year's show. We are
holding our annual club diorama competition at this show
and the attendees will select this year's winner. Our
competition has been mentioned in national magazines like
Barbie Bazaar and this is a great opportunity for
collectors to show their creativity."
Proceeds to Benefit? "This show is a fund raiser for our
club and not supporting a specific charity. Our club does
support various charities throughout the year with
donations and contributions."

Food available: Hotel restaurant, freestanding restaurants
and fast food outlets close by
